SGA President Roshan Palli Sworn in to Board of Trustees

Last Tuesday, August 13, UKSGA President Roshan Palli was sworn in as the student representative on the University’s Board of Trustees. As a voting member, Palli will be directly involved in the governance of the University.

“I am honored and humbled to be sworn in today,” said Palli. “I cannot wait to work with this outstanding group of individuals, and to represent the views of students.”

Operating within state and federal laws, “the Board of Trustees is the final authority in all matters affecting the institution and exercises jurisdiction over the institution’s financial, educational, and other policies and its relation with state and federal governments.”

Roshan joins two members of the faculty, one member of non-teaching personnel, and sixteen members appointed by the Governor.
