The University of Kentucky Student Government Association is proud and excited to announce the release of the applications for 2016 Spring internships in Washington DC, Lexington and
Frankfort. Students will have the opportunities to apply for internship positions in the offices of the following Kentucky senators and representatives and in the office of the Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes:
If selected, interns through this program would receive a reasonable stipend to help defray costs of working in Washington DC or Frankfort. Dates for the internships are flexible and will be discussed and set by the offices once they have selected their intern and talked with them regarding their schedule. The required application materials are attached below: The first link is the 2016 Wildcats in Washington Internship Application and the others are the applications for each respective that you must complete as well.
All application materials must be turned in via email by 5 PM on Wednesday November 25th or to the SGA office by 5pm Monday November 23rd.

- Cover letter addressed to the Student Government Selection Committee
- Updated résumé
All application materials must be sealed and mailed/dropped off to the Student Government Office in Room 351 of Blazer Hall or emailed to Alex.Feczko@uky.edu.
Email is the preferred avenue for submission, but it is whatever is most feasible for the applicant.
