Student Government secures DC internships for UK students, providing stipends

The cost of living in Washington, D.C., may dissuade students from applying for unpaid internships, but Student Government is now offering a program that provides a stipend.

The Wildcat Interest Group recently secured two internships for UK students to intern with Sen. Mitch McConnell and Rep. Geoff Davis for summer 2012.

Shop & Share Program

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Dr. Mary Lynne Capilouto is joining Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear to help raise $500,000 in goods and donations for the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association with the Shop and Share program.
